History
Dipolar was founded in 2005 by Walter Rönnblom, now working as president for the company, who previously has worked with international marketing of industrial systems and as development manager for industrial electronics.
Walter Rönnblom started to work in development projects for magnetron power systems in mid 1990’s.
”We could identify a need on the microwave heating market for hightech power supplies that made it possible to achieve both energy effectiveness and integrated control possibilities.
From this we developed the first power supply for 1kW magnetrons using switch mode technology with integrated CPU control.
During the developments we have also worked with experts in magnetrons, microwave applicator design and components. Our aim has always been to provide high quality, better technology and energy effectiveness.”
The experiences from the initial projects, with multiple power supplies installed, where very positive.
”Our customers suddenly could see new possibilities of control system integrations.”
The power supplies are today sold to customers in US and several European countries.
